View rainfall totals across the United States with the RainDrop App

The RainDrop app enables users to access and verify rainfall totals across the United States. By adding a virtual rain gauge to a specific location on the map, users can observe the recorded rainfall data for that area. Each virtual rain gauge provides localized rainfall totals within a 2.5x2.5mi radius. This application is ideal for professionals working outdoors such as farmers, gardeners, construction workers, and fishermen, among others.

View rainfall totals easily on your phone by placing a pin on the map to obtain localized rainfall estimates. Analyze historical rainfall data and variations to understand how precipitation amounts compare to local averages.

Main Features:

• Add virtual rain gauges on a map to view rainfall totals.
• Access historical rainfall data for various durations.
• Compare your virtual rain gauge data with local averages over three decades.
• Monitor deviations in rainfall totals from averages for different durations.
• Tap on the map to check 24-hour rainfall totals.
• Easily compare accumulated rainfall at different pinned locations.
• Review a simple list of your rain gauges and their respective rainfall amounts.
• Edit or delete your rain gauges as needed.

Note: The app offers free access to 24-hour, 48-hour, 72-hour, Month-to-Date (MTD), and Year-to-Date (YTD) rainfall information with up to three gauges. The Pro version includes additional features such as historical data for 7 days up to 365 days, rainfall deviation estimates from averages, direct access to 24-hour rainfall data, and unlimited gauges.

Please be advised that while the app provides estimates within a 2.5x2.5 mile radius of your pinned location using radar, satellite data, and available rain gauge information, these estimates may not precisely align with readings from physical rain gauges due to localized factors like wind patterns affecting measurements.

If "Not available" is displayed on your rain gauge reading, revisit the app later as it typically resolves within an hour. Further details are available within the app regarding this issue.
